Sam’s Cottage, named after the property owner's 16 year old nephew who suffers from cerebral palsy and has limited accessibility, is Keswick’s first and only fully accessible holiday let. Set back in a quiet courtyard, this two bedroom bungalow sleeps 2-3 people and is ideally positioned for all the town centre has to offer, complete with one allocated parking space. There is a cinema, shops, bars and restaurants all within 100 meters of the front door. The property is newly constructed and furnished to a high standard. Purposely built with Sam in mind can be a real haven for those with disabilities to enjoy their independence while visiting this beautiful Lakeland town.
As you approach the entrance there is ramped access to the front door, leading into the wide wheelchair friendly hallway. Inside, you will find a fully accessible modern wet room. To the front of the property is the spacious open plan lounge & Kitchen with a brown leather corner sofa, nest of tables, a dining table with four chairs and flat screen TV mounted to the wall with Netflix included. The stylish kitchen, with accessible worktops for wheelchair users, is fully equipped with everything you could need for the perfect self-catering holiday. The clean and comfortable bedroom includes a brand new double mattress in metal frame, wardrobe, and two bedside tables. Extra Single Bedroom available* please enquire re extra cost The second bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe with mirror, and bed side table. Bedrooms are made up with high quality crisp linen and towels. There is much attention to detail throughout this cottage, from the touch lamps next to the beds for ease of use to the practical hardwood floors. All light switches and plug sockets are at accessible heights. Parking for 1 car. (you should note that entry to the car-park is down a narrow alley). Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout
Tithe Cottage
Tucked away just off the main street in Keswick is this cosy cottage for two. A compact barn conversion in a courtyard setting, Tithe Cottage with one parking space provides a wonderful base to explore the vibrant Keswick area. It is lovingly maintained having been refurbished throughout to create a modern, fresh feel. Take some time for a little bit of indulgence during your stay as the cottage includes complimentary access to the fabulous Spa at Underscar (approximately a 5 minute drive from the property - Please be aware that this facility currently needs to be booked in advance). Free unlimited WI-FI included.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with fully fitted wardrobes and dressing table. The bed is beautifully dressed with luxury linen and towels for the highest comfort and relaxation. The shower room is also on this floor and has shower cubicle with electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. Upstairs there is an open plan lounge and kitchen area with breakfast bar. High beamed ceilings add to the traditional character of the cottage. This is a nice bright room with lovely co-ordinating fabrics that give a very homely feel. Facilities include TV, DVD player, docking station, radio, comfortable leather settee, fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave etc. This is an ideal cottage for couples seeking a location that provides peace and privacy yet is just a stones throw from the town centre. Guests can enjoy an extra treat with complimentary access to the fabulous Spa at Underscar. There is private parking for one car, washer/dryer and central heating.
Isabel Cottage
Isabel Cottage is a Luxury Lakeland cottage situated within a minutes’ walk to shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and close to Fitz Park and an easy walk to the lakeshore and Keswick Theatre. This is an ideal cottage for two, cosy, central, quiet, well finished and with an attention to detail. Recliner sofa, Smart TV and log burner make this cottage a cosy and romantic retreat. To the front of the cottage is a small outside space.
Isabel’s Cottage is a traditional luxury Lakeland cottage situated within a minutes’ walk to shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and close to Fitz Park and an easy walk to the lakeshore and Keswick Theatre. This is an ideal cottage for two, cosy, central, quiet, well finished and with an attention to detail. The Lounge has everything you could want including reclining leather sofa and a log burning stove. A smart TV means you can log into your own streaming service to watch movies etc. The bedroom has a Superking size bed (That can be split to Twinbeds - charge applies) made up with high quality fresh linen and towels, and luxury en-suite walk in shower room. To the front of the cottage is a small outside space with a bench on which to relax and pass an hour or two. Parking for 1 car (you should note that entry to the car-park is down a narrow alley). There is plenty of unrestricted on-street parking close by. A parking permit can be purchased for the local long stay car park (2min walk away)
Greta Side
A delightful apartment in the former pencil mill built on the river Greta with views over Fitz Park towards Latrigg. With a private carpark, and located 200 meters from the centre of Keswick this second floor one bedroom apartment is within easy walking access to the town centre which has a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs.
The warm and welcoming lounge has a Smart TV, comfortable sofa, easy chair, and dining table with views across Keswick facing south west for the afternoon and evening sun. The kitchen may be compact but is well equipped for your holiday. A small hallway gives access to the shower room. The east facing bedroom dressed with luxury linen and towels has beautiful views across the river Greta and Fitz park. The delightful sound of the river running past the building can be heard through the open bedroom window.
