Delightful cottage, peacefully situated in a quiet lane on the banks of the River Greta, with views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw, but only three minutes walk from the town centre and Moot Hall. It is only yards from the footbridge across the river into Fitz Park with its playing fields, BMX track and children's playground.
High Skydes is well furnished and fully equipped, with central heating and double glazing. It has a charming living room, a modern kitchen and spacious bathroom. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with two single beds. All bedding is provided. The living room also has a bed settee for occasional use.
Free Wi-Fi is provided.
There is parking for two cars at the side of the cottage. The living room overlooks a pretty, enclosed landscaped garden with lawn and picnic bench. The door from the kitchen leads to a small patio garden with paving and shrubs and a gate onto the lane.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but the cottage is non-smoking.
