Holiday Cottage with Spectacular Views!
Croft Corner is a VisitEngland 4 star Gold Award property at Applethwaite just one mile from Keswick. It has spectacular views, wifi, fell walks from the door and three pub/restaurants and health spa facilities within walking distance. Derwentwater is just a few minutes drive away. We have many guests who return from year to year to enjoy the views and peaceful location.
Croft Corner (for 2) has spectacular views of Skiddaw and Latrigg and is located on the side of Croft House - a handsome Victorian country house set on the edge of Applethwaite village and surrounded by fields. It has a kitchen, lounge/dining room and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. All of the accommodation is on the ground floor so it is suitable for guests who prefer not to have stairs to negotiate.
It has its own independent heating system with its own adjacent boiler room with a washer/dryer. It has a "cottage style" garden with BBQ and garden furniture. There is a separate parking area with a designated car space fro Croft Corner guests. .
The first photo is of Croft House with Skiddaw behind and the next two photos are of the view south from Applethwaite out over Croft House to the Borrowdale and north-western fells and the same view south from Croft House. The other photos are all of Croft Corner and the garden.
We offer short breaks at certain times and are open all year. Croft Corner has a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the town but with all the facilities of Keswick on hand when required.

Location
From A66 roundabout on the northern edge of Keswick take A591 signed to Carlisle. After 0.5 mile turn right into a lane which has a signpost saying “Applethwaite and Skiddaw”. Croft House is in front of you on the bend in the lane. Penrith is the nearest train station with a bus service or taxi to Keswick.
