Appletree is a 3/4 bedroom, 3 bath/shower room house in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick). A fabulous home with much thought and consideration given to the layout, decoration and furnishing. Very well finished offering spacious, high quality accommodation with some lovely homely touches. Wonderful fell views to the front and rear, an enclosed garden and off road parking for three cars.
Appletree is in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick) and has some fabulous views of the surrounding fells with local access to lakeshore and marinas. On the ground floor there is a large open plan lounge, dining/kitchen area with patio doors out onto a paved patio area and enclosed garden. The lounge has two, three seater settees, an easy chair, Smart TV, DVD, CD player and an open fire (ideal for a cosy night in). The kitchen is well fitted and has plenty of cupboard space, fridge, freezer, double fan oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave etc. On the ground floor there is also a large bedroom with zip/link beds which as standard is made up as a super king size bed but can be made up as two single beds (there is a £15 charge for this). Also on this floor there is a fully tiled shower room with large drench shower,WC and wash basin (with underfloor heating to the tiled floor during the winter months). Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, is nicely furnished and has lovely views towards the fells. Off this room is a fully tiled en-suite shower room with drench shower, WC and wash hand basin (with underfloor heating to the tiled floor during the winter months). The twin room is spacious and has two single beds wardrobe, drawers, dressing table etc. and again has fabulous views towards the fells. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and looks out towards Skiddaw. This room is offered at additional cost for a short break or a full week. The fully tiled bathroom has a bath ( which can be turned into a Jacuzzi Bath at an additional charge if requested) separate curved shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. This room also has a tiled floor with underfloor heating in the winter. To the outside there is an enclosed garden, driveway for parking and a patio area to the back with table, chairs & parasol.
