Allerdale House is a spacious 4 Star Silver and Breakfast Award guest house exclusively for adults with Private Off Road Parking for all our guests' cars, free superfast mesh WiFi throughout the house, and you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
We are situated in a quiet area yet conveniently situated for all Keswick's amenities; only around 5 minutes easy walk into town. Allerdale House is one of the few guest houses in Keswick owned and run by a local couple, Leigh and Mat Richards. Leigh was born and raised in Keswick, and is the eldest granddaughter of local outdoor legend George Fisher. Mat has lived in the town for 20 years.
We have two superking and three kingsize rooms, are all en-suite, centrally heated, double glazed and with digital flat screen televisions, tea making facilities and nespresso coffee machines and hair dryers. Superior rooms are large rooms with large bath/shower rooms and a comfortable seating area.
Breakfasts are substantial with a range of choices, with options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free and dairy free diets. Homemade cakes and biscuits are always available in the foyer aling with fresh milk for your teas and coffees.
