Victorian Fayre 2024

The annual Victorian Fayre takes place on the first Sunday of December every year and this year it will be held on Sunday 1st December, in it's usual spot of the Keswick Market Place and in Packhorse Court.

25 Charity stalls set up and ready to go by 10am including a grotto for Santa. The stalls will be selling food Christmas Goodies and The entertainment will set off with a rousing series of seasonal melodies played by bands on the main square. Two MCs Chris Briggs & Neil Airy will be introducing the players and directing the visitors to what will be happening and where – either on the main square or in Pack Horse Court. Their style of dress last year was bright and cheerful and eye-catching though not in the least Victorian!

Father Christmas will appear during the morning and will meet only those children who have been good throughout the year!

The Entertainment will be planned all day in both the main square and Pack horse Court with a varied set of entertainers; KAOS, Committed to rock Cockermouth mechanics band, Kikki, BJamba, Cockermouth Ukulele Band, Belfegan dancers. Hunter Hall School Choir, Keswick School band, Grey Stoke Hand Bells, Keswick Junior Brass Band.

The Children’s fair will be running all day. 

There will be the usual excellent KVF raffle drawn  in the afternoon and the prizes announced in the main square – the prizes are donated by local organisations and businesses.

Opening Ceremoy by Andy Airy MBE - 3 Dads Walking, Taylors Funfair and a giant raffle!!

Cumberland Council has removed charges for the day from Central car park.

It is sure to be a fantastic event and a great way to get into the festive spirit.
