Carrock Glamping Pods
Carrock Glamping Pods are nestled at the foot of Carrock Fell, which Wainwright said to be the 2nd most interesting Fell in the Lake District.
They have three superb Glamping Pods, complete with en-suite shower rooms & HOT TUBS facing Carrock and the Sunset.
Imagine yourself sitting beside the fire pit which is open to the stars – no street lights here, on a romantic getaway. Then snuggle up on the sofa in the Pod for a truly relaxing holiday. The glass front means you will never miss the amazing view whatever the weather.
Burns Farm Luxury Cabins & Bell Tents
14 luxury adult only cabins are finished to the highest standard possible. Underfloor heating throughout by a sustainable biomass boiler. With high-quality kitchens and en-suite, your own private bubbling hot tub and breath-taking views. These units have all the right ingredients for a stunning holiday.
Burns Farm Lambs Luxury Cabins with mountain views are available to book throughout the year for a maximum of 2 adults per cabin. Cabins are not suitable for children or infants. Some of the cabins can accommodate pets.
5 boutique glamping bell tents will give you that extra luxury experience you may not find on a regular camping trip while surrounding yourself in nature. Private washrooms available to book as an extra, bell tents are suitable for the whole family but not for pets.
Castlerigg Hall Hexpods
Located on the site of England’s earliest recorded glamping site, our Hex Pods offer a unique luxury glamping experience here in the heart of the Lake District.
Each pod provides our most comfortable offering featuring a choice of layout, colour scheme and even one with a bath option.
There are 5 pods to choose from, all slightly different with great views and two of the pods are pet friendly
Mosedale End Farm Glamping Pod
ONE & only, Glamping Pod, situated in the corner of the farmyard next to the garden & stream, with wonderful views of the lambing fields & hay meadows. The veranda is the perfect place to sit and watch Farm life in a quieter corner of the Lake District.
The Glamping Pod sleeps x2 adults in a made-up double bed & x2 children in sleeping bags on a sofa bed aged 3 years to 12 years old. Shower en-suite with towels, mini kitchen with fridge for basic food prep, underfloor heating, wi-fi, smart TV
Castlerigg Hall Inspire Pods
If you’re looking for a bit more comfort to our Standard/Family Pods this is maybe the choice for you. Tastefully furnished with double patio doors opening onto a large wooden decked area with outside seating to enjoy the great outdoors.
Featuring a made-up bed, sofa ,large flat screen TV, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, shower and WC. Bedding and towels are provided and car parking next to the unit. Washing up liquid and soap is included. Sorry dogs are not permitted.
Low Briery Camping Pods
Equipped for two people, the Glamping Pods have a shower room with toilet and basin, full size double bed, sofa, TV and dining table. They don’t have full cooking facilities but do have a kitchen sink, microwave, a small refrigerator, toaster, kettle and enough dishes and utensils for your takeaway or microwave meals.
Please note: The use of camping stoves inside the pod is not permitted under any circumstances for safety reasons.
All riverside pods are heated with under floor heating.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is included.
Inside Out Camping Yurts
Inside out offers luxury camping in six Yurts at Seatoller Farm in the stunning Borrowdale Valley.
Their yurts are 16ft diameter and can accommodate 4 on futons and we can fit one more on the spare airbed - all with bedding provided.
The yurts on Seatoller Farm Campsite are situated at the end of the campsite close to the hills at the bottom of Borrwdale Valley. As part of this National Trust farm campsite we share their facilities of toilets and showers along with the 'regular' campers.
Lanefoot Farm Camping Pods and Shepherds Hut
The Pods are very well insulated, and the roof is made of a special material designed to cut down the noise of heavy rain.
They are warm and dry, with lights and heating included.
Please remember to bring your own bedding and cooking equipment to all our camping Pods.
Mattresses are only provided in our Family Plus Pods.
The Shepherds’ Hut comfortably sleeps two people. Inside there is a bed platform with a double mattress, a small oil-filled electric radiator, lights and electric plug sockets.
The Shepherds’ Hut is situated in it’s own area of the campsite, with views towards Skiddaw through the French doors to the front, and Barrow through the window on the side. A native mixed hedge surrounds The Shepherds’ Hut, and a stream runs close by. There is a campfire already set up outside, with kiln dried logs available to buy from our shop.

Castlerigg Hall Standard & Family Pods
These small timber huts feature a wraparound roof, well insulated with sheep’s wool in the walls, and with a special foil layer under the tiles to help keep summer temperatures in check. There’s good head height and plenty of light from the double-glazed lockable french doors which, together with a small high rear window, provide a good through draft. Also provided is an electric socket, heater and lighting. These units do not have beds and you would bring all the necessities of camping minus the tent. Car parking is available for each pod and we have pet friendly options in this range. Toilet, shower and pot wash facilities are a short walk from the Castle Pods/Family and Standard Pods.
