Maria Quigley's journey with the Lake District Hotels group spans an impressive 24 years, during which she has continuously showcased dedication, passion and leadership. Starting her journey as a part-time employee at The Loft nightclub in 2000, Quigley's determination and dedication led her through a series of roles including sous chef at the Skiddaw Hotel where she continued to progress up the career ladder; ultimately reaching the position of Sales Manager.

Her promotion to General Manager at the Borrowdale Hotel stands as a testament to her outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to excellence. Quigley's deep-rooted connection with the community of Keswick and her stellar reputation among locals and visitors alike make her the perfect fit for this pivotal role.
