New Menu at Mizu Pan Asian Restaurant
Mizu Pan-Asian Restaurant unveils highly anticipated new menu amidst Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa's £2.5million refurbishment
Amidst the completion of the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa's extensive £2.5 million refurbishment, Mizu Pan-Asian Restaurant, which can be found within the hotel, proudly announces the launch of its brand new menu for 2024.
Renowned for its far Eastern cuisine, contemporary décor and breathtaking views overlooking the majestic Lodore Falls waterfall, Mizu continues to elevate the guest experience by frequently “spicing up” its menu with the addition of tantalising new dishes. In 2022, the hotel was awarded ‘Best Restaurant in England’ at the Golden Chopsticks Award.
"While some of our beloved classics such as Vietnamese Chicken, Beef Rendang and Katsu Curry remain staples, the new menu represents an exciting evolution of Mizu's culinary offerings," remarks Flori Musca, Restaurant Manager at Mizu Pan-Asian Restaurant.
“Because Mizu has become such a popular restaurant for both locals and visitors and we see many loyal guests regularly return, it is important for us to mix up the menu by introducing new flavours for them to try, keeping them on their toes!”
Among the highlights of the reimagined Mizu menu are a selection of new sushi and sticks, also known as Yakitori in Japan, both of which have always cemented Mizu’s place on the map. Examples include the Beef Yusoko, Akai Josei, Thai Pork Fillet & Char-Grilled Beef Sirloin.
Moreover, guests can indulge in the reimagined Mizu superboard, a culinary masterpiece showcasing a fusion of favourite flavours from across the menu.
"Having been with the team for over a year now, I am thrilled to infuse the menu with new flavours that resonate with my cultural background" said Vishal Borole, Head Chef at Mizu, who oversees the vibrant and multicultural kitchen. “I feel privileged to be at the helm of Mizu's kitchen and contribute to its legacy."
Notably, the menu now offers even more vegan dishes, including the Plant-Based Ramen which includes the added twist of vegan gyozas; appealing to discerning palates seeking plant-powered delights.
In addition to the new menu offerings, Mizu has updated its sophisticated 7-course tasting menu, curated to delight the senses, with a vegetarian option available for any non-meat eaters.
The recent Lodore Falls Hotel refurbishment project has revitalised various facets of the hotel, including the bar, entrance, reception, lounge and sister restaurant which has been rebranded as the Falls Brasserie.
