The 3rd edition of the MINT Chinese Film Festival returns to Keswick!

We’re bringing over 30 of the best Chinese and Asian films: curated film screenings, a festival gala, exciting UK, EU, and world premieres, director Q&As, and an inspiring curatorial workshop

Alongside the film festival, enjoy the first-ever outdoor Asian Arts, Craft & Food Market in Keswick, along with a series of free, complementary cultural activities and lakeside walk involving MINTers and the whole town: a full Chinese New Year extravaganza!

MINT - Lakeside Guided Walk at Keswick Alhambra Cinema

Lakeside walk with MINT and local guides. Walk 9.30am to 11am, meet outside Alhambra Cinema at 9.20am - free

MINT - Asian Arts, Craft & Food Market at Keswick Market Square

Asian Arts, Craft & Food Market runs in Keswick Market Square from 10am to 3pm: browse and buy arts and crafts, play some games, enjoy some snacks and delectable Asian food (we define Asian very broadly here: we've got Indian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese food represented!)

MINT - Lion Dance at Keswick Market Square

At 11.30am and 12.30pm you'll be able to see an amazing Lion Dance in the market square, c/o the Lancaster-based Northern Dragons Lion Dance team, sponsored by the Lancaster Confucius Institute.

MINT - Chinese music performance at Methodist Church Hall, 2pm - Sponsored by the Lancaster Confucius Institute.

MINT - Chinese tai-chi demonstration at Methodist Church Hall, 3pm - Sponsored by the Lancaster Confucius Institute.
