On Sunday 27^th November, for the first time in forever, the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa was paid a very special visit from Anna & Elsa from the smash-hit animated movie, Frozen.

The sisters of Arendelle flocked to the Borrowdale based hotel for a series of extra special meet & greets with little princesses throughout the kingdom of Cumbria.

A series of 6 half an hour meet and greet slots ran throughout the afternoon starting from 11:30am which included story time, a Frozen sing-along, time for photos and plenty of warm hugs.

As well as meeting the characters, the children also got to participate in a glitter station and receive their own glitter tattoos which were hugely popular.

After Elsa had transformed the hotel function suite into a winter wonderland using her ice powers, 10 children were welcomed into the room every 30-minutes to meet the characters. Even Olaf, Sven and Kristoff could be found in the room too.

The 30-minute meet and greet slots were then immediately followed by a Frozen-inspired afternoon tea for all the children and their parents in the hotel’s Lake View Restaurant, giving families the opportunity to explore the breath-taking Christmas decorations whilst enjoying some seasonal food.

Festive Afternoon Teas are still available daily at the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa up to 2nd January 2023, and although Anna & Elsa are not scheduled to visit again this winter season, the sumptuous spread is still a treat for the eyes and the tastebuds.

Festive Afternoon Teas are priced at £29.50 per adult and £14.75 per child. They feature seasonal delights including Maple Syrup & Thyme Glazed Pigs-in-Blankets, Stilton & Chestnut Quiche, Mini Sticky Fig & Port Pudding plus others.
