Lake District Spa Is A Finalist For Two Prestigious Spa Awards
The renowned The Falls Spa, near Keswick, has just been named as a finalist in two prestigious UK spa awards, in the category for Best Outdoor Facilities at the 2020 Good Spa Guide awards and Spa of the Year category for the Midlands and North West regions in the 2020 Professional Beauty Awards.
The Best Outdoor Facilities category, sponsored by Dale Sauna, is a new comer to the long-established prestigious Good Spa Guide awards, and is looking for a spa that ‘provides an exceptional outdoor experience for guests’, whilst the Professional Beauty Awards are one of the most respected awards ceremonies for the beauty sector, paying homage to some of the greatest spas and salons within the industry.
The Falls Spa, which opened in November 2018, was designed to seamlessly blend the natural beauty of the Lake District with the wellness benefits of spa. With a variety of outdoor experiences, including an Instagram-famous infinity edge hydrotherapy pool and ice-cold plunge bucket the spa has provided guests with a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Borrowdale valley whilst benefitting from hot and cold-water therapy, something which is gaining huge momentum in the health and wellness industry in 2020. Come rain, snow or sun, spa-goers enjoy the outdoor facilities as much as the indoor heat rooms, which include a variety of saunas and steam rooms.
“We’re so pleased to get some good news whilst we are in lockdown,” says Dani Hope, director of Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, where The Falls Spa resides, “the outdoor facilities at the spa are by far the most popular part of the spa, with panoramic views across the lake to the mountains where guests can enjoy the Lake District in a very different way.”
The winners of the Good Spa Guide awards will be announced on 24th November at a virtual awards ceremony. In addition, the Professional Beauty Awards will also take place as a virtual ceremony on Tuesday 8th December.
