CUCUMBER CURRENCY: 4 Keswick bars invite guests to exchange a cucumber for a G&T for second year in a row!
Lake District Hotels is delighted to announce the return of a beloved promotion as three of its Keswick-based hotels gear up to celebrate World Cucumber Day with a unique and refreshing offer. Customers are once again invited to exchange a fresh cucumber for an ice-cold Hendrick's Gin and Fever-Tree tonic at participating bars on Friday 14th June between 4pm-5pm.
Following the resounding success of last year, this event, back by popular demand, promises to be a highlight of the summer season in Keswick. Such was the enthusiasm of guests last year that local supermarkets found themselves depleted of cucumbers.

The Hendrick's happy hour will take place across three venues nestled within Keswick's charming Market Square: The Kings Arms Hotel, Skiddaw Hotel and Inn on the Square which is comprised of both the Front Bar and Back Bar, who are both participating.
The cucumber holds a revered status in the world of Hendrick's Gin, playing a pivotal role in its unique distillation process. With its distinct flavour notes, a slice of cucumber adds an extraordinary depth to the gin, making it an essential component of any Hendrick's G&T. Therefore, in celebration of World Cucumber Day, no other fruit will suffice as a form of currency.
