Keswick parkrun
Keswick parkrun is a free, timed 5km run that is open to all abilities - it's you against the clock.
When is it? - Every Saturday at 9:00am.
Where is it? - The event takes place at Keswick Railway Path, Station Road, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4NF.
An out and back course on Keswick Railway Path, from the bollards just after the old station to a turn-around at the iron bridge. The whole course is off road, quite flat for Keswick (!) and has great views of the river all the way. The last half mile should be really fast.
The course is entirely trail paths, muddy at the start, but runnable in road shoes.
What does it cost to join in? - Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time.
How fast do I have to be? - Parkrunners run for their own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!
We're a friendly bunch, every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in the Museum Café, Fitz Park. Feel free to join us!
