Wild Woman Way – a weekend of self-discovery and empowerment - helping you find your life purpose and free your wild woman within.
What is a wild woman you might ask? There are many definitions, and this is my interpretation. She is a woman in her power, unconstrained by the pressures placed on her by society and responsibility. She has life experience and she has survived. She might bear many scars but she is still here with the capacity for great strength. She knows what she wants and how to achieve it. She draws upon the energy of the earth, the moon and the stars, and the wisdom of her ancestors to guide her. She sees vulnerability as a strength and compassion is her staff. She doesn’t know all the answers, but she works with the Universe to navigate her life with self-love and confidence. She is you…! You just don’t know it yet…
Over these three days I draw together all my research and methods over the last 10 years to share with you. It doesn’t matter what stage of life you are in; what matters is that you have that feeling in your gut something has to change! Perhaps you are fed up of being told what to do, how to be, perhaps you’ve had some life changing experiences and want to begin a new path and way of being?
I warn you, this will be intense and you may find some parts of it challenging. At the end you may walk away a different person. There will be release, healing, transformation, connection, compassion and support for you to find your way forwards as a Wild and Wise Woman. Are you ready..?
We will strip back the layers that society and patriarchy places upon us to discover the real woman within, the wild and wise woman who is ready to be unleashed! Using meditation, visualization, drumming, singing, cacao ceremony, glass walking, nature connection and our own creativity, we will each find what we need in this beautiful and ancient landscape.
Women create magic when we come together and a sacred bond is shared between us. We eat together, sleep together (in spacious shared accommodation), laugh together, sing together and cry together, knowing that we are safe and held by each other’s presence.
Accommodation and food
Our retreat space is Flynn’s Barn, at Thorneythwaite Farm in Borrowdale, a beautifully newly converted traditional Lakeland barn nestled in the mountains, with spacious and cosy bunk house-style accommodation.
Fully catered with vegetarian & vegan food.
