Ladies, if you have a love for the outdoors, enjoy riding a bike but feel daunted by the thought of struggling up hills then now is your chance to try cycling with a difference.

This Breeze ride in the Forest is a women only “E-BIKE” ride, ( normal bikes are welcome) and requires no particular skill, other than being able to ride a bike. There are long gradual ascents and descents so a bike with a full battery, low gears and good brakes is a must. The aim of the ride is to enjoy ourselves, we ride as fast as the slowest rider and no-one gets left behind. After the ride the cafe provides a lovely environment for a little “apres-ride” socialising while indulging in a bit of C&C (Coffee & Cake).

The ride is approx. 6.2 miles riding on forest tracks. Electric Mountain bikes or Electric hybrids with off-road tyres, helmet and a spare inner tube are essential. Tools, a drink and a snack are advisable. You never know what the weather is going to be like so bring appropriate clothing e.g. waterproofs and a change of clothing as the route may be wet and muddy.

The forest is a magical place full of wildlife and car free tracks. Exploring it on a bike is great fun, a great way to improve your level of fitness, cycling skills and meet new like-minded people so come along and give it a go.

Everyone is welcome and if you don't have an e-bike and want to try one there is a place on site where they can be hired - Cyclewise.
