From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.
Join our experienced, knowledgeable Ranger as they lead you around our amazing new WOW Trail!
The Wow trail is a 4.5-mile walking trail that really showcases all we have to offer in our mountain forest. You can expect fantastic views, stunning surroundings, a chance to spot the wildlife of Whinlatter in our new wildlife hide, time to pause, reflect, and reset in our new wellbeing area and of course be wowed at our new viewpoint!
You’ll learn facts about the forest and hear stories that make Whinlatter such a special place.
This guided walk starts at 10.30am and takes approximately 3 hours. If you’d like to join us, make sure to book you place with our friendly team in the Visitor Centre.
