Our annual exhibition celebrating the art of printmaking. It features hand pulled prints by over 50 printmakers from across the UK, showcasing the range of techniques from traditional to modern.
New for 2023, a spotlight on how sustainably sourced plant dyes and pigments are being used by Madder Cutch & Co to hand screen-print linen for home furnishings. The exhibition will also feature the fascinating story of the Gunning family of printmakers who invented the Gunning Etching Press. All the artwork on display is for sale throughout the exhibition. Many of the exhibiting artists will also run creative classes at Rheged, for beginners and people with some experience.
