Direction

From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Details

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Keswick Mountain Festival to bring to you DexShell Hell In The Fells. This ride is a 72km route that takes in some of the most breath-taking gravel routes in the North Lakes and takes riders around the flanks of Skiddaw, the shores of Bassenthwaite and the trails  here at Whinlatter, providing outstanding viewpoints across this spectacular part of the Lake District National Park

The 72km packs a punch with a cumulative ascent of 2032 metres and each participant who completes the course will be given a classification based on their finishing time: Gold – Finishing time less than 4 hours, Silver – Finishing time less than 5.5 hours, Bronze – Finishing time less than 7 hours.
