Keswick Golf Club is located on the A66, 4 miles East of Keswick, close to Threlkeld. The course is sited in the valley between the mountain masses of Blencathra to the North and Clough Head to the South, probably one of the most scenic situations for a course in the country. Day visitors are very welcome. This challenging eighteen hole parkland course measures 6225 yards with a par of 71.
Cockermouth Golf Club is situated in the fells at Embleton, 4 miles East of Cockermouth. Designed by famed golf course architect James Braid, it is a scenic 18 hole fell land course, measuring 5496 yards with a par of 72. Most greens are fast and sloping, and the bunkers are strategically placed for maximum effect. The frequent strong winds also add an extra dimension to playing here.

Hope Park in Keswick has a varied 9 hole course in Hope Park. There is also obstacle golf and a putting green. Fitz Park also has a putting green.
